What are you currently working on?
Disrupting real estate valuation in home insurance & mortgage lending. We build a lean and frictionless process to value real estate properties by combining data, artificial intelligence and human expertise. It’s a fascinating and challenging experience as we are looking to change and improve well-established market practices!

Which technical challenge do you deal with at the moment ?
I am currently working on extracting intelligence from a new data set we haven't fully scoped yet. It is an enriching project to work on as a data scientist since there are many new insights in this data. The main challenge is to determine which insights add value for our customers, and should be taken beyond their experimental stage into production. It is a continuous balancing act between exploring the technical boundaries of the data sets we work with and pursuing a commercially viable business model.
